Verdict

SPACE CADET has done nothing wrong and his second to Acapella Bourgeois over the track and trip in December has been given a massive boost by the winner. But he faces a stiff challenge from winning bumper Potters Field, who looked in need of this sort of trip when a beaten favourite in a big field at Navan in November. Winning point-to-pointer Stowaway Shark showed massive improvement from his hurdling debut to be narrowly beaten at Down Royal and more progress can be expected while Jezki's half-brother Jett is very interesting now tackling hurdles for the first time.
