Road To Riches continues to race at a very high level and though not in the best of form is now 15lb lower than his last victory. Pleasant Company is well capable of winning at this level as he showed in a Fairyhouse Grade 3 in February on his way to a creditable run in the Grand National. He hasn't run since Aintree and his stable companion POLIDAM (NAP) looks the one to beat. A regular winner in France, he returned from a break to land a handicap at Navan in which his stablemate Acapello Bourgeois started odds-on and though 9lb higher is still looking on a very handy mark. Oscar Knight ran a fine race to finish third in this a year ago and won over hurdles at Naas in November so he's on the shortlist as is Thunder And Roses, the 2015 Irish National winner and fourth in that race this year.
