Verdict

A disappointing entry with Aidan O'Brien having three of the five entries. ROYAL NAVY SHIP made his debut at the Curragh a fortnight ago and started second favourite behind stablemate Jacobean but had no problems seeing him and 20 other rivals off. A $500,000 yearling he looks a classy recruit and is likely to take all the beating. Cocoon has much more experience and her latest run behind stablemate Together Forever at the Curragh was her best so far. She finished in front of Steip Amach that day and the latter has since been beaten in a Navan maiden so the form may not be all that strong. Ask Me Nicely has been disappointing and doesn't look up to this while Mandamus produced a shock when comfortably landing a Cork maiden a week ago and is taking on stronger rivals.
