Mydor has never been the most consistent but has still managed six victories shared between hurdles and the Flat. His last victory was here two years ago and he's now 16lb higher. Brightest Flame hadn't shown much before storming to victory in first time blinkers at Tramore where he came in for strong support. He makes his handicap debut here and is likely to prove better than a 123-rated handicapper. Diamond Cauchois has regained his best form and only just failed to get past Shannak at Fairyhouse though he could have done without a 4lb rise. SUTTON MANOR was beaten nine lengths in that latter race but travelled well until a couple of errors put paid to his chances. He's the type to continue on the upgrade and gets the nod though stable companion Woodford Island is on a 10lb lower mark than over fences.
