In depth

Verdict

Highly Approved, three times an all-weather winner but 0-14 on Turf, makes a quick reappearance after a decent effort over 6f at Sligo on Tuesday where she stayed on from the rear. Alwarda is another returning quickly after a moderate run at Gowran on Sunday though that was over a mile and she'd run much better over this trip there previously. LITTLE CLARINET (NAP) had been running well all season before gaining a deserved victory over an extended 6f at the Curragh a fortnight ago. She's up 5lb and hasn't really shown she stays this trip but is running well enough to overcome those obstacles. Victorious Secret rarely runs anywhere but Dundalk these days and hasn't been seen since February while Silk Cravat, four times a winner on the all-weather, is 0-17 on Turf.
