Verdict

Aidan O'Brien has won four of the last seven renewals but his representative this year, Painted Cliffs, was soon beaten behind stablemate Air Force Blue on his debut at the Curragh. Connections have soon reverted to headgear with the Canford Cliffs colt, who may need more time. Mint Chai is also tried in blinkers after finding one too good in each of his three starts. This will be his first run on ground this quick, though he's still preferred to the once-raced Intrepid Prince. SIKANDARABAD is a beautifully-bred son of Dr Fong but has already been gelded. He'll be expected to win races, however, and may be more forward than fellow newcomers Angelic Demon and Dashing Chief.
