In depth

Verdict

SPEED DIAL had been going well over hurdles during the winter so it was no great surprise when he made a winning return to the Flat at Gowran as he was on the mark of a plater. He's been raised 9lb but still looks leniently treated and should go in again. Head Waiter was caught right on the line by Star Power over 2m at Dundalk and this slightly shorter trip should enable him to get involved again while Apache Drums, though inconsistent, could go well at a fair price on his best form. Rawnaq is very consistent and will be difficult to keep out of the frame while Tiger At Heart makes his handicap debut and a check in the market is advised.
