CURLEY BILL looked to have missed a golden opportunity to complete a double when runner-up at Roscommon on Tuesday but came up against a progressive winner and can get back on the winning trail from the same mark. At the other end of the handicap, Clongowes has progressed into a cracking handicapper and though he's likely to be racing over further this summer he has the pace to get into contention. Mawaany began last year with victories at Dundalk and the Curragh then contested major middle-distance handicaps throughout the campaign and was never beaten far. Apparition is a smart hurdler who reverts to the Flat on a lenient-looking mark so he's on the shortlist along with Breathe Easy, who rarely runs away from the Curragh but has run some excellent races there in tough handicaps.
