In depth

Verdict

Free Eagle won this for Dermot Weld last year and his FASCINATING ROCK is clear at the weights. A runner-up to Al Kazeem in the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh in May, he will take the beating with a similar effort. Listed winner Answered has found one too good in Group 3 company the last twice but is still preferred to stablemate Morning Mix and Ballydoyle's John F Kennedy, a winner on this card last year but disappointing in both starts so far this season. Both Elleval and Panama Hat travelled over to Chicago last month with the former running well enough for fifth in the Arlington Million and the latter second in a Grade 3 contest over 1m6f.
