Verdict

A moderate contest to end proceedings but TORNADO WATCH, who completed a double over hurdles in the spring, should be good enough to get off the mark after two runs on the level, the first when runner-up to Irish Derby hero Latrobe at the Curragh. Davids Charm was a long way behind him at Ballinrobe last time while Willie Mullins' Kolumbus, a winning bumper, was very disappointing over timber last year and has been given a long break. Slipperby Serpent is another out of form over timber though he did complete a Downpatrick double last summer.
