Verdict

Brother Rabbit had shown nothing before a shock victory on heavy ground at Gowran and whether he can repeat that effort with an 8lb rise is a matter of conjecture. Our Conor had Consonance a head behind off level weights at Roscommon last month and it's difficult to imagine him confirming the form on tonight's terms despite a subsequent narrow victory over BEAT THE BALLOT at Naas. The runner-up was having his first start since December and with that under his belt and a 4lb pull in the weights he can reverse the form and gain his second success on his fifth start. Sure Reef started favourite for that Naas event but could never get in a blow and looks held.
