Verdict

Three-year-olds have won six of the past ten with six going to UK raiders. Aidan O'Brien has scored just once in that period but arrives triple-handed with Joseph choosing Maybe, unbeaten as a juvenile but yet to recapture the form that saw her land the Moyglare. Ishvana has progressed with racing and, after an excellent second in the Irish 1000 Guineas, took the Jersey Stakes though she would need to improve again to land this. Emulous won this last year and has been saddled with her Group 1 penalty this season including when a beaten favourite in the Windsor Forest at Ascot where she found the ground too quick. Dermot Weld's filly has been saved for this but CHACHAMAIDEE, who finished runner-up in the Windsor Forest, is handed the vote. She was also runner-up in last year's Sun Chariot , when Alanza was well beaten, and though arguably better over 7f the good going here is in her favour and she can gain a deserved first success at the highest level. Duntle has made great strides this summer and gained her first success at pattern race level in the Group 3 Desmond Stakes on this track where she had just under a length to spare over Ballybacka Lady. Laugh Out Loud has been well beaten in her two attempts at this level and the remainder will need to find major improvement.
