Verdict

Aidan O'Brien had several entries at the early stage and relies on Lancaster House, by Galileo and the first foal of a USA Grade 3 winner, and Jack Yeats, another son of Galileo and likely to have benefited from his run here in August. However, the stable have made a slow start to the Turf campaign unlike that of Jim Bolger, whose Ambitious Approach showed plenty of potential behind Sherkali at Navan a week ago. That winner is trained by Dermot Weld, who could hardly have made a better start to the new season. He runs the Scat Daddly colt ZARANDI and the half-brother to two winners can continue the stable's brilliant start. Claim The Lady probably found fast ground against him at Gowran after a much better run on good going at Cork earlier while Buckhurst is by Australia so would be expected to come into his own this season.
