Verdict

Jim Culloty has been unable to get a victory out of Mighty Concorde though it isn't for the lack of trying as he's been placed in his last six runs and rarely been beaten far. He looks certain to play a leading role again though has gone up 4lb for finishing runner-up last time. Blazer scored over hurdles in France and was bought to go chasing. His latest effort was too bad to be true and he could be on a very lenient mark back over timber. My Painter looked a nice prospect for Denis Hogan when making a successful debut at Musselburgh though faces a much stiffer test. All You Need made a successful debut over fences at Naas and reverts back to hurdles but a chance is taken with IMPROVER. He looks a typical Tony Martin slow-burner having finished runner-up to Coney Island, who runs in a Grade 1 earlier, here before falling when there with a chance at Thurles. He may never get in a handicap on 114 again and this could be his opportunity.
