Modern Romance was an impressive winner on heavy going over 7f at Roscommon in September so it was a surprise to find her racing over 1m5f on fast ground on her reappearance. She finished last of five that day and a return to a more suitable trip on easier ground must be to her benefit. Kedleston shot up the weights after completing a Polytrack double but returned to form when just failing to hold the late thrust of stablemate Croi An Or at Killarney and can run from the same mark here. Forgiving Light was conceding 6lb to STOCKTONS WING when just over two lengths behind at Listowel but failed to take advantage of better terms when beaten by that rival at Navan subsequently. There's no doubt he's very well handicapped here but the winner has made much better progress and can complete a hat-trick. The maiden Money Spider is dropping back in trip and looks on a reasonable mark so should get into the mix.
