Verdict

Tiger Frog looks to have been found a suitable opportunity to follow up his recent Catterick success and is preferred to former stablemate Apadi and Kosmos Bleu. The selection is still well treated on the pick of his hurdles form and, judged by the form shown at Leicester, should be able to defy a 6lb rise in the weights. Top weight Moon Shot has a lengthy absence to overcome and of more interest is Robert Alner's Kosmos Bleu, who won a novices' event at Newton Abbot last month and was not disgraced in a handicap for the first time at Lingfield subsequently. The six-year-old should be open to further improvement and cannot be dismissed lightly. Uncle Wallace and Bowd Lane Joe have given little sign of encouragement of late and of more interest may be Apadi. Richard Guest has his string in fine form at present and the son of Diesis has dropped to a fair mark. However, Tiger Frog has an every chance and he gets the vote.
