In depth

Verdict

CHRISTOPHER WREN has won three times here and, though raised a further 8lb since his latest course victory at the start of the month, he easily has the beating of Le Bacardy and may be capable of one more win before the handicapper goes to town. Baile Anrai would have an excellent chance at the weights but this will surely be too short and Jack The Gent appears to have lost his way. Wessex King also looks out of sorts while Prince Of Dreams hasn't raced since April, though doesn't look badly treated.
