In depth

Verdict

One Night In Paris can complete her hat-trick at the expense of Club Captain and Mellifluous. The selection has an excellent chance at the weights and comes here in top form having won her last two starts at around this trip at Wolverhampton. She does have a little bit to prove on grass however so a note of caution is sounded but she has been placed once in her four attempts on turf and her shrewd trainer is unlikely to have left much to chance. Mellifluous has plenty to find on the book but she drops in grade having had just the three runs in maidens and wouldn't be one to dismiss lightly with Chris Catlin taking the ride. Club Captain is another with plenty to prove on grass but he looks well worth a try at this longer trip in this grade and could take a hand. Mick Is Back and Just Intersky are others that could figure but we think that this could go the way of the likely favourite, One Night In Paris.
