In depth

Verdict

Nadawat gets the confident vote in this maiden with Penny Post and Tomorrow's Dancer taken to chase him home. The selection ran his best race yet last time at Redcar when he finished narrowly behind Ransom Captive. He has run well on soft ground in the past and he should be able to put his experience to good use today. Penny Post is an interesting newcomer from the Mark Johnston yard but they are not noted for first time out two-year-old winners and unless he is heavily backed then he may be best watched. Tomorrow's Dancer is a nice colt and he has shaped with promise on each of his two starts but he has yet to race on ground as testing as this and he will need to improve to get competitive. Zain is another interesting newcomer who is worth a look in the market but for the winner we will stick with Nadawat who looks the one to beat.
