Verdict

LAAHIG is the form pick to win with both Crackdown and Keeptheboatafloat worth noting. The selection broke his maiden tag first time of asking at Carlisle and has since run well in defeat on both his last two outings. This looks like one of his easiest opportunities to date so with that in mind he is worth staying on the right side of. Crackdown has put in some creditable efforts this season but disappointed at Doncaster when finishing nearer last than first last time out so has to come back with an improved effort if he is to break his maiden tag. Keeptheboatafloat won at Ripon in June and ran well to finish second at Pontefract thereafter. He was outclassed in a Group 3 race at Kempton last time out and will better suited by these conditions. But for the winner we return to Laahig.
