Verdict

Je T'aime Encore, a winner in France this year for Gay Kellaway on soft ground, has to be respected dropped to this grade for the first time although there has to be a concern about forecast conditions as he's yet to convince he acts on quick ground. This is a poor race though and he should go close. Tell Me Another is also dropped in grade but Rae Guest's gelding has yet to perform on anything other than artificial surfaces so David O'Meara is taken to do the trick with MY GIRL JO. Yet to hit the frame in five starts, she shaped fairly well when fifth of 14 in a Ripon maiden last autumn and it was a similar story latest when a fair fifth in a Hamilton handicap, beaten under 4l. Relegated into the lowliest grade now, she can get off the mark.
