Verdict

Double U Dot Ede's had run quite well in a non-seller at Fontwell and started favourite for a similar race to this at Fakenham but not for the first time ran a shocker. Craftybird was beaten out of sight in all races on the Flat but did slightly better in a claiming hurdle at Ludlow and wouldn't need to improve much to take a hand. Chief Executive, once rated 75 on the Flat, is now down to 41 which says it all and Tetralogy was tailed off when runner-up on his debut then pulled up on his only subsequent start. MR LANDO at least knows where the winning post is as he demonstrated at Kempton last month. He's also won over hurdles in Ireland so should prove too good for these despite a big weight.
