      Verdict

      After three runs on Polytrack, the latest a very unlucky run at Kempton, Perfect Persuasion will be fancied to make amends. However, she will find Salisbury winner LAFTAH a very tough opponent and Roger Varian's filly, who cost 200,000gns as a foal, looks the type to go on to bigger things so is handed the vote. Valen doesn't appear to have improved from her maiden success at Ffos Las but the handicapper is slowly releasing his grip and she was staying on over 6f at Newmarket last time. With Clive Cox continuing to fire in the winners, the lightly-raced Redinha could be capable of more than she's shown to date on her handicap debut while Wolverhampton winner Joie De Reve is having her first start on Turf.
