    In depth

    Verdict

Dermot Weld won this a year ago and can repeat the process with INITIAL, who was in the lead at this trip at Tipperary on Saturday only to be caught close home. Rule The Waves made a promising start over this course and distance but didn't appear to handle the softer ground and drop back to the minimum at Tipperary last month. Yulong Xiongba has only raced on ground with plenty of give but has shown potential and must be considered on this likely faster going. Jim Bolger's Intense Focus filly Fields Of May can prove best of the remainder.
