Verdict

PIPE DREAM was just getting the hang of the job on his debut over 6f at Newbury when he was impeded. He still managed a decent performance and, with that under his belt, it will take a good run to lower his colours. Rock Of Dreams has gone well enough in all three starts to suggest he will be winning soon though he may have to wait for a nursery. Sir Guy Porteous has contested two very tough events at Newmarket and this is a drop in class while the newcomers Ashkari, who is extremely speedily-bred, and Takreym, who is the fifth foal of a mare that has already produced four winners, have to be respected.
