In depth

Verdict

Newnton Lodge is the top rated on official figures but continues to disappoint and the three-year-old TOWN MOUSE is preferred. The latter drops back in trip after a string of placed efforts but has little to beat and can open his account. Priestley's Reward won a seller on the Polytrack last term, but it's difficult to make a case for any of the remainder unless Idolise shows a massive improvement stepping up to middle-distances for the first time or Mr Lover Lover turns out a lot better than his debut in a bumper at Fakenham suggested.
