    Verdict

    Madame Ambassador went close to justifying favouritism on her debut at Haydock but was touched off by a more-experienced rival. She has a cracking pedigree and should win races but PULCHERIA is also beautifully bred and it would be a surprise if the Godolphin filly didn’t know her job. Lady Valentine is probably facing a tough task on debut while Ladymac looked modest at Nottingham.
