      Verdict

      A couple of these ran well in higher grade races on their respective handicap debuts. Mariance went close at Newmarket when finding only Basilicata, trained by Mark Johnston, too good and the latter runs MONZA CITY in this. She was not match for the progressive Mark Of The Man when second at Goodwood but this is easier and the drop back in trip should suit. Mashmoom, Rania and Follow Suit finished second in novice contests last time and all make their handicap debuts today but Forbidden Beauty and Dujac both disappointed on their latest starts.
