        Verdict

        Fire Ship has been running well in decent company but the rains may not have arrived in time for William Knight's top weight. Loving Spirit has the ability to figure off this sort of mark but Boom And Bust has been struggling for a while now and Starboard was still beaten five lengths when second at Chepstow and is 5lb higher. DARK EMERALD has gone up 17lb since the start of the year but the grey improved again to score at Newmarket last time and may be capable of another victory. Bold Prediction is ultra-consistent but now 18lb higher than when last successful on Turf, though still preferred to the disappointing Cordite.
