        Verdict

        FLYING SECRET finished ahead of a couple of subsequent winners when only beaten half-a-length over this trip at Ascot. He got taken off his feet dropped to 6f next time at Salisbury and deserves another chance. Carbon was still beaten more six lengths when third at Beverley but Spinaround, from last year’s winning yard, is a likely improver as he blew the start at Sandown. Eshkaal is a very interesting debutant as he is a half-brother to 1000 Guineas runner-up Saffron Beach.
