        Verdict

        Mr Cripps showed ability as a three-year-old but missed the whole of last year. Galapiat won in France last summer and has joined Mark Johnston’s yard while Carrington looked a bit stuck off similar marks last season and has his first start since July. Faithful Creek won at Southwell in February and was placed off today’s mark last time but a chance is taken on RAINBOW DREAMER (NAP). The latter has been winning over hurdles since last seen on the Flat and Alan King’s charge should figure with a repeat of last year’s placed efforts.
