In depth

Verdict

Most have been competing on the all-weather though Vixen recorded her double last summer and Astrospeed has the more recent form bidding for a hat-trick having won a couple of lower grade races at Kempton this year. The Lamplighter also has claims after going close at the latter track recently but HUMAN NATURE (NAP) may just edge this. He’s another arriving from a good effort over today’s trip at Kempton when fourth in a tougher contest and Stuart Williams’ charge should go close allowed to compete off a 5lb lower mark back on this surface. Kupa River steps back up in distance after scoring over 6f at Wolverhampton and is preferred to both Scofflaw and Young John of the rest.
