      Verdict

Acrux was retained by David O’Meara after winning over 7f at Redcar but he’s only raced over a trip this short once before and finished tailed off. KODY RIDGE won this last year as a three-year-old. He later won a handicap at Thirsk and was successful at Southwell in January. A recent run at Pontefract should have blown away any cobwebs and Roger Fell’s charge looks the one to beat again. Majorette and Shesthedream have each-way claims but Sterling Silva looks the pick of the remainder.
