The veteran Monumental Man represents the sponsors and landed a slightly better-class handicap over the course and distance last year when Caesar's Comet, who is slightly better off at the weights, was a close third after looking the likely winner. Denis Hogan's charge can take his revenge while last year's winner Tyrconnel obviously enjoys the surface and ran well at Fairyhouse last time. However MY GOOD BROTHER (NAP), last year's runner-up, has a huge pull in the weights and won at the meeting in 2016 so looks the one to beat, though Bellick ran a cracker at Cork last time and would be a threat if handling the surface.
