Verdict

QADAR is in good form and appeared to relish the surface when successful over 6f here last year. A combination of the longer trip and more favourable terms should see him reverse Down Royal running in June with Patrickswell and he can also turn around Leopardstown form in July with last month's Roscommon winner He's Got Rhythm. Mutadarek surely needs further than this, while Born To Excel has been put up 7lb after breaking his duck at Gowran last month and whether he'll be able to reproduce that form over the shorter distance is a matter of conjecture.
