Grainne Whale has been placed in three of his four starts in handicaps and seems sure to be on the premises again here, though the assessor gives him little respite. Indian Scout ran well over 7f at Limerick and Tipperary in June and could feature dropping back in trip, while stablemate Latin Prayer has also hinted at ability. Ashgrove Nell was third over 1m2f at Ayr on her penultimate start but we like to look of RIO SILVER in this. Joseph Murphy's charge has a bit to find with Grainne Whale on recent Ballinrobe running but will appreciate this better ground and has a decent draw.
