Verdict

BELFAST BANTER has been carrying a penalty for his bumper victory in the UK and has come up against smart opposition the last twice. He can put matters right in what looks a moderate opener. Arthur Fonzarelli put his jumping problems behind at Wexford and though beaten a long way should have had his confidence boosted. One For Joe is probably better over further while General Clermont also looked as though a longer trip would suit when third at Clonmel in March.
