Verdict

Charlie Luciano followed a good run on the Flat with a narrow defeat over timber at Ballinrobe when only caught in the closing stages. He'd unseated on his hurdles debut at Tipperary when the favourite Chargo was third. The latter was about to be headed when falling three out here next time after pulling very hard, a race in which Pepsiwithacap was well beaten. The latter was sent to Uttoxeter for a handicap next time and ran very well. Arch Enemy, twice a winner on the level, is interesting on her hurdling bow while Grizabella landed a Fairyhouse claimer on soft ground last month. AGHABOY, a maiden on the Flat with one placed effort to his credit, must have been identified as a likely hurdler and moved to Willie Mullins so he's handed the vote in what looks a moderate contest.
