Rich Belief has won six races in all kinds of conditions and a 6lb rise for last month's Navan victory is unlikely to prevent another big run. Takarengo finished runner-up over fences at Clonmel last month but he'd been running quite well over hurdles earlier and goes on the shortlist. Eleven-times winner The Jam Man pulled up in the Ulster National last month but an earlier narrow defeat at Dundalk puts him right in the picture. Grappa Nonino beat a big field of maiden hurdlers at Navan and found 1m5f too short back on the Flat at Sligo so looks a threat but this can go to SWELLTIME. He was in excellent form throughout last summer and may have won a Limerick handicap hurdle last time but for falling two out.
