In depth

Verdict

This has attracted a really strong line-up and the teenage Banna Man, who is a standing dish around here and was only just touched off a year ago, may find it too hot this time around. Bob Buckler sends the six-times chase winner Mister Matt from the UK and he'll appreciate the quick ground better than most while the excellent Tranquil Sea is going for his 13th career victory on his 40th start and arrives in good form after a fine run behind Klepht at the Punchestown Festival. Absolutlyfantastic hasn't won as often as he should have but he's a talented performer when getting things right and has to be of interest from this mark. GO ALL THE WAY is an exciting prospect for Jim Dreaper having made a spectacular start over fences at this meeting a year ago and following up in even easier fashion a month later. He fell at Cheltenham when last seen in October where he played up in the preliminaries and has been given plenty of time to get over that mishap so gets the vote.
