Verdict

Steady Ed is still a maiden over fences but is getting closer though he could have done without a 3lb rise for his recent second at Cork. Pur Style, a winner over hurdles in France, has yet to sparkle over fences but makes his handicap debut from a lowly mark and should be kept on the right side. CLARAGH NATIVE, twice a winner over hurdles, has yet to score over fences but looks reasonably treated and his rider's claim is a bonus so he's handed the vote. The remainder are out of form and have something to prove.
