In depth

Verdict

A very tough looking handicap with most of the runners arriving in good form. ORIGINAL OPTION fell on his chasing debut at Down Royal but made a sparkling return to hurdling at Bellewstown where he was always travelling well and comfortably saw off Ballintemple Star. He's been raised 8lb for that but can go in again though No One Tells Me is amongst a host of tough opponents. Jessica Harrington's mare beat three decent rivals to land a conditions event at Tipperary last month and has since gone well on the Flat. Gormanstown Cuckoo is still a maiden but that surely won't be for long as he ran a cracking race behind Sylvan Approach at Gowran and makes his handicap debut from a fair mark. Ordinary Man lost his maiden tag in very good style at Clonmel and the youngster Peccatorum is improving fast as he showed with an excellent run behind Archie Boy at Kilbeggan.
