Verdict

Three-year-olds have a fine record in this and GENERAL MACARTHUR can keep up the sequence. Aidan O'Brien's colt won a maiden in September and a better race at Navan last June and though not looking up to Listed class this season should be more at home in this company. Hat Alnasar has been in outstanding form and has gone up 23lb in the ratings as a consequence. He didn't run well at the Curragh last time and appears better at Dundalk these days. Mr Right is another to have shot up the ratings due to a cracking run of form on all surfaces. His recent victory at Leopardstown was his best to date and there's probably more to come. Ruler Of France was in very good form on Turf last summer but Reckless Lad hasn't been at his best recently.
