ABBEY LANE has contested better events than this and wasn't beaten far in the Paddy Power at Leopardstown. His form figures don't represent his ability and it's about time he was losing his maiden tag over fences. Macnicholson ran a tremendous race behind Some Article over hurdles last month and if able to transfer that form to the bigger obstacles would obviously be very difficult to beat. Undressed has always looked like a chaser so is one to note on his debut over fences, a remark that also applies to three-times hurdles winner Give Me A Break, who has had a couple of runs over timber recently to prepare her for a career over fences. The lightly raced and progressive Lord Adare is another for the notebook in an interesting contest.
