Triple point-to-point winner Strawhaul Maul is a decent enough performer but he's unshipped his rider in two of his last three starts and may need more experience over regulation fences. Bold Perk has produced a couple of fair efforts over fences including in a handicap at Tipperary last time and should get competitive but this can go to SOMETHING GRAND. A winning hurdler, the six-year-old was having only his third start over fences when staying on nicely over 2m3f at Wexford last time and this much longer trip should bring out the best in him. Manthatwasclose has won three times between the flags but has finished tailed off on his two starts under Rules.
