Verdict

TOOR GENERAL showed little in maidens but produced a much-improved performance when a close third in a huge field at Leopardstown in December where he only gave way in the closing stages over that 2m2f. Tony Martin will have him ready and he looks on a very realistic mark. Winning bumper Lockeen Girl is 0-17 over hurdles and though she's been placed on numerous occasions her best form has been over further. Comehere Hi has a very good record on the track and she'll be better for a recent run at Navan but five-times Flat winner Konig Hall looked a bit one-paced at Down Royal last weekend and has plenty to do. Market's Field won on good ground at Sligo last summer, though that was over 3m, while Viking Hoard came in for support for Sunday's abandoned meeting.
