In depth

Verdict

Noble Silk finished ahead of several of these when runner-up to Litigant in a similar contest at Lingfield. Duchess Of Gazeley was a close-up third with Castilo Del Diablo and Ranjaan further behind. Sir Graham Wade hasn't won for a while but has some of the strongest form on offer and could bounce back at any time while Thecornishcockney landed a double over track and trip in February before failing to figure in Dubai. Glenard steps up in trip on his return with Ryan Moore on board but CLOWANCE ESTATE is preferred. He made a winning reappearance last season and only faded in the closing stages over 2m2f in the Cesarewitch when last seen at the track. He gets the vote in an open affair.
