Verdict

Otto The First showed some improvement for his return to the all-weather in November and could be thereabouts but another chance goes to HOLDING FAST. He's gone close the last twice with his second at Lingfield last week the best recent form on offer and he could well go one better in this. Frans Hals never looked like catching the winner when third over 7f last time and neither did Black Truffle when he occupied the same finishing position at Lingfield three weeks ago. Chelsea Grey may prove best of the rest.
