Verdict

FLAM deserves to win a race and she could have been found a good opportunity here; the list of dangers is headed by Bluebell Ridge and Formidable Guest. James Fanshawe's filly is no stable star but she has been running with a decent level of consistency and she wasn't beaten far behind Graylyn Ruby last time. This race will not take much winning and she could be the value call. Formidable Guest disappointed last time at Lingfield but the return to this venue will suit as she has shown some decent form here and from a good draw she has to be considered. Bluebell Ridge won well here last time out and this track seems to bring out the best in her. She shapes as though she will be seen to even better effect over further and she will need to improve if she is to get her head in front tonight. Dan Tucker has a good draw and could prove best of the others, but in an open event we will side with Flam as the pick.
