Bert The Alert failed to follow-up a win at Lingfield in a lesser grade race here last time and Shalambar's course win back in March came over 1m4f. Royal Etiquette and Having A Ball are recent C&D winners though both are upped in class off higher marks today and Fairyinthewind makes more appeal as she can race off the same mark as when runner-up over track and trip last week. GUARDA PAMPA never threatened when third on her latest start but that was her first outing since June and she's fancied to find enough improvement to score on her handicap debut.
